CredRank ("we," "us," "our") operates credrank.in. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email address, and password (encrypted) when you sign up.
- Profile information: your chosen handle/username, and your profile picture (either an uploaded photo or a selected avatar).
- Stats you provide: gaming statistics (kills, matches, wins, etc.) and/or creator statistics (followers, likes, views, etc.) that you manually enter to generate your CredRank score. This data is self-reported by you.
- Payment information: if you purchase the Detailed Breakdown (₹49) or Verified Badge (₹99), payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or payment details — Razorpay handles this securely. We only store a record that a payment was made (amount, status, transaction ID).
- Usage data: basic technical information such as IP address and browser type, collected automatically for security and analytics purposes.
How We Use Your Information
- To calculate your CredRank score and tier.
- To display your public profile page and leaderboard position.
- To process payments for premium features.
- To improve and maintain the CredRank platform.
- To communicate with you about your account if necessary.
What's Public vs. Private
Your name, handle, profile picture, category (Gamer/Creator), score, tier, and the stats you choose to display on your card are publicly visible to anyone who visits your profile page (credrank.in/u/yourhandle) or the leaderboard. This is the core purpose of the platform — your CredRank profile is meant to be shared.
Your email address and password are never displayed publicly.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data only with:
- Razorpay, to process payments.
- Our database and authentication infrastructure provider, which stores your account data securely.
Your Rights
You may:
- Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.

Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted passwords and database access controls, to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
CredRank is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of CredRank after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
